Edgware Brook at Little Stanmore
One of the upper tributaries in the River Brent catchment. Mostly in culverts or concrete channels it's not one of London's Lost Rivers, but it's certainly one of its quite well hidden ones. The brook has a history of flooding from time to time, just to remind people it's still there.

Chandos Recreation Ground
A name linked with the history of the area. In the 18th century nearby Canons Park was the home of James Brydges, Duke of Chandos. The name can be traced back to a village called Candos in Normandy. The title ceased to exist in 1789 when the last Duke of Chandos died with no heir.
