Criminals Beware along Camrose Avenue
"Criminals Beware. You are entering an area where premises are forensically protected by Smart Water." says the notice. SmartWater is a chemical tracer which is used to mark items, locations and intruders and forensically link them to crime scenes. More about it on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SmartWater Not to be confused with Smartwater (small W) which is distributed by Coca Cola and probably doesn't deter burglars much unless you hang them upside down in it.

A Picturesque House in Green Lane
An attractive display of flowers and greenery made for an ideal photo opportunity as I was strolling along Green Lane on an early Summer's evening.

Chandos Recreation Ground
A name linked with the history of the area. In the 18th century nearby Canons Park was the home of James Brydges, Duke of Chandos. The name can be traced back to a village called Candos in Normandy. The title ceased to exist in 1789 when the last Duke of Chandos died with no heir.
