Jubilee Line railway between Canons Park and Stanmore
This is a repeat, same photographer, same view, and quite possibly same camera, of Image] taken nearly 11 years previously. Just about the only significant change since 2007 is the loss of the signal post and ground signal marker on the left of the tracks.

Jubilee Line railway between Canons Park and Stanmore
Viewed from the bridge carrying the access track across the railway in Canons Park, the Du Cros Drive / Dalkeith Grove road bridge is visible in the distance, and Stanmore station is beyond that. The line opened in 1932 as a branch of the Metropolitan Line from Wembley Park. In 1939 operation of the railway was taken over by the Bakerloo Line, and, after a short-lived period when it was known as the Fleet Line, the new Jubilee Line took over operations in 1979.
