Kenton Road, Harrow, Middlesex
Looking southwestwards towards Kenton Station from Kenton Park Parade, there is plenty of activity in this Saturday morning shot taken in 1955. The spire of Harrow on the Hill Church is just visible on the horizon. The imposing facade of the Wordsworth telephone exchange is seen on the right. The white building seen middle left is on the corner of Kenton Road and Woodcock Hill, and is home to the George Wells Photographic Studio. Outside it is the main bus stop for services to Harrow. I am indebted to John Finn for these notes.
