North Harrow: Wealdstone Motors Clock Tower
This Art Deco landmark is at the junction of the A404 Pinner Road (to the right) with Woodlands (to the left), except that the junction itself was closed off to road traffic many years ago. Wealdstone Motors' website is here http://www.wealdstonemotors.co.uk/7575/wealdstone.htm and it's good to report that the clock was telling the right time.

Headstone Lane
Seen from the junction with Pinner Road, on the right, and George V Avenue on the left. The cars coming straight across the junction are joining the Pinner Road which bends sharply left here.

The Broadwalk, Pinner Road, North Harrow
Taken in 1962 (probably on a Sunday morning in view of the lack of people and traffic), looking towards The Embassy cinema, shortly to be demolished and replaced by a Safeway supermarket and 10-pin bowling alley. Also notable is the hourly Green Line coach from Wrotham in Kent en route for Amersham in Buckinghamshire.
