The path through Sudbury Court recreation ground
The horizon is roughly the summit of this small knoll rising south of the bigger hill at Harrow. Maintaining it as a small open space has preserved some tremendous views across Middlesex for the public.

Rowan Close and beyond from the recreation ground at Sudbury Court
The top terrace of Rowan Close makes a photogenic foreground (in my view) to the spectacular view across Wembley to London from this outlier of Harrow Hill.

The picturesque, tight-knit design of this estate did not anticipate later developments in waste collection. This picture was taken on a Sunday afternoon; either Monday is bin day or there is nowhere else to put the wheelies.
