Guildford Cathedral
Guildford Cathedral, or to give it its full name, The Cathedral Church of the Holy Spirit, viewed across the area of grass in front of its west end. Consecrated in 1961, having been completed in stages from the laying of its foundation stone in 1936, it was designed by the architect Edward Maufe. The land was donated by Lord Onslow. Grade II* listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1377883?section=official-list-entry. On the left is the refectory building.

Bus to Victoria Station
D142 (XX 9591) was new in 1925 to the Dominion Omnibus Co and is a Dennis 4-Ton open-topped bus, seating 48. It was withdrawn in 1931 after 6 years service. This vintage bus was bought by the London Bus Museum in 1984 where it underwent extensive restoration and rebuilding, then painted in the blue London Public livery it carried in 1928-1929.
