Tin tabernacle, Deepcut

St Barbara's Church
The altar and stained glass windows at the East end of St Barbara's. The windows celebrate St George, Christ in Glory and St Patrick. Originally the windows were in the Portobello Barracks Chapel, Dublin, but were re-sited in October 1922. For a view of the West wall refer to picture Image

St Barbara's Church, Deepcut
St Barbara's Church is the garrison church for the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC). The associated Blackdown and Deepcut barracks are scheduled for closure, however the fate of the church has not been decided. St Barbara's Church

St Barbara was adopted as the Patron Saint of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps in 1922, and the church was rededicated to St Barbara on 1st October 1967.
