Coldharbour Bridge
This attractive brick arch carries Coldharbour Lane across what was once the Hereford - Gloucester canal. Not far from here is Oxenhall Tunnel, a major engineering feature which was in large part responsible for the cripplingly high construction costs of the canal.

Oxenhall Tunnel
This tunnel is on the former Hereford and Gloucester Canal near Newent. The canal closed in 1881 and substantial parts of the route were converted into the Gloucester to Ledbury Railway line, also since closed. Work is in hand to restore the canal, as the freshly excavated approach to the tunnel testifies.
