Nelson's Arms, Ruardean Hill
Now closed and partly destroyed by fire, the pub on Morse Road was originally named after a visit to the Forest of Dean by Lord Nelson himself.

In the distance, to the right, can be seen the Euroclydon Nursing Home. Which also houses the Forest of Dean Mechanical Organ Museum. The hills in the far distance are The Malverns.

Toposcope on Ruardean Hill
At 290m excluding May Hill which is an outlier, Ruardean Hill is the highest point in the Forest of Dean and it offers wonderful views to the north. This toposcope represents one of the local miners.

The beacon on Ruardean Hill
The beacon on Ruardean Hill is 290m above sea level; excluding May Hill, this is the highest point in the Forest of Dean. The disturbed ground in the foreground is as a result of wild boar.
