Lytham 1st railway station (site), Lancashire
This small station was opened in 1846 by the Preston & Wyre Joint railway as the terminus of its line from Preston. It closed to passengers in 1874 and completely in the 1960s. View south west towards the former train shed. The building to the right occupies the site of the terminus building. The tower and the buildings to the left of it are built on the site of the small trainshed and platform.

St John the Divine's Parish Church, East Beach, Lytham
The church of St John the Divine was erected in 1848-9, and consecrated on the 11th September 1850. It was a mission church of St Cuthbert's until St John's became a parish in its own right in 1870.
