The pond in Springfield Park
Springfield Park was formed in 1905 from the grounds of three private houses, of which one, the White Lodge (or ‘Springfield House’), dating from the 19th century, survives in the south-west corner of the park. Springfield Park provides fine views across the Lea Valley and Walthamstow Marshes. The flower is purple loosestrife.

Path in Springfield Park, Stamford Hill
This park is on the slopes on the high ground on the edge of Stamford Hill, dropping down to the towpath of the River Lee Navigation on the River Lea. The path leads down to the river and Springfield Marina. The path is also used by the Capital Ring (long distance path) heading towards the Walthamstow Marshes.
