East Quay, Tobacco Dock
As seen from Reardon Street. As its name suggests, Tobacco Dock was where tobacco imported from overseas was unloaded from ships then stored. Most of the dock has been filled in apart from a canal. The whole area was once occupied by the London Docks, but is now largely used for housing.

Tobacco Dock, Wapping
In the days of the London Docks, Tobacco Dock served the huge Tobacco Warehouse, seen in the left background and a Grade I listed building. It is an event venue, film and TV location and more: https://tobaccodocklondon.com Wikipedia has an interesting history at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobacco_Dock The large building in the distance is the multi-storey car park for the venue. From their flowers the handsome grasses in the water (sensibly restrained) look like Reed Sweet-Grass (Glyceria maxima) Image The view is from Discovery Walk Image
