Forward Hous
The presumption that an 'E' has dropped off may be incorrect - if so, the name would not be very well centred. It was a gusty day, as the crane hook beyond indicates.

Leytonstone Telephone Exchange (1)
Situated in Jesse Road E10 6JN, this TE would appear to date from the 1930s with its roof windows jutting out. It serves Leyton and Leytonstone, and used to have LEYtonstone and RAGlan numbers until the late 1960s. Mobile phone aerials can be seen on the roof of this building, which Nikolaus Pevsner, the late art historian would probably have approved of its appearance.
