Looking north as the BCN Old Main Line (Wolverhampton Level) meanders towards Tipton Junction. The Dudley canal leads off to the left. The H&R ChemPharm (UK) chemical works is part of the wider H&R Group, an integrated mineral oil products producer with a presence in 34 countries worldwide.
There is almost no boat movement so the water is clear and the canal bed is visible.

Birmingham Canal Navigations approaching Tipton Junction
This is the BCN Old Main Line (Wolverhampton Level), looking north-west towards the junction with the Dudley Canal, which leads off to the left. I wonder why so very many substantial mooring rings have been installed here. Housing is in Leasowe Road.
I can just see that this guy https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6813471 is still in situ at the junction, sunbathing!
