This farm has been for along time a large working farm. These are presumably the cottages where the farm workers used to live.

These are the doorways that face on to the old farmyard of the magnificent stone barns. there are two barns dating from the 16thC built end to end.

Wyke Farm Barns
This long barn which is actually two barns end to end is one of the most impressive in Dorset. It is 19 bays long. It has buttresses and roof construction with raised crucks and the RCHM dates it to the 1500's. It is on the other side of the railway from the moated manor house.
