Houses in Broad Lane
Looking along Broad Lane east towards Watton Cross and Bridport. The garage of the nearest house has a sign "Worruba", which put me in mind of Dylan Thomas's "Llareggub". No further comment.

Footpath from Broad Lane across Vearse Farm
The gap in the hedge is the site of a footpath across Vearse Farm to West Allington. The signpost is obscured by the hedge but the stile is still accessible. The path should go straight ahead across the field, however the field has been planted and only a very small margin left around the edges making it almost impossible without trampling the crop.

Watton: postbox № DT6 63 and phone
These two red objects, accompanied by a bench, are on the corner of the little lane that leads to the hamlet of Watton – on the outskirts of Bridport but in the parish of Symondsbury. The postbox is emptied at noon on weekdays and 1½ hours earlier on Saturdays.

The junction of Skilling Hill Road (coming from behind camera), Broad Lane going ahead to Eype, and Watton Lane turning off to the left. The telephone box has a notice in it saying that it is up for adoption.

Broad Lane looking east
Looking east in the direction of Bridport at the first houses on Broad Lane (or last if you are coming from town). A footpath skirts the edge of the end house going off right to the A35. Quite a few footpaths and lanes were disrupted by the construction of the Bridport bypass.
