Weymouth - The Bandstand Pier
Opening on 25th May 1939 this pier used to reach 200feet into Weymouth Bay, until 1985 when the cost of maintaining it became too much and the pier was blown up following a national competition to "push the button".

The parking garage for Hotel Prince Regent, Weymouth
From the style and function, I assume this dates from the 1920s or 1930s, the golden age of holiday motoring.

Hotel Prince Regent - Weymouth
Once called the Hotel Burdon, this hotel was together with Victoria Terrace, of which it is part, built in 1855. During WWI it was used as a hospital for ANZAC troops who were wounded during the Gallipoli campaign.
In front on the wall can be seen the small Garden of Remembrance where people have placed crosses for their loved ones.
