Welcoming Hall & Woodhouse roadhouse on Dorchester Road. Back bar, four eating and drinking areas to front, with wooden beams and panelling, TV and garden. Old Milestone by the A352, Portway, Winfrith Newburgh Parish
Metal plate attached to stone post by the A352, in parish of WINFRITH NEWBURGH (PURBECK District), opposite Red Lion Pub and turning to Winfrith Newburgh; 2m back from road against hedge, on North side of road. Dorset 3 and 4 (iron plated), erected by the Dorchester & Wool turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:- : 9 / DORCHESTER / WAREHAM / 8 :
Carved benchmark on bottom centre of front face.
