Notton Farmhouse
Notton is a small hamlet on the banks of the River Frome with a loose collection of a few houses clustered round this large Farmhouse. It has recently been sold by auction with a guide price of £500,000. It is quite run down and will need a lot of work as it is totally unmodernised but it is probably still a bargain.

Drought in Dorset (1)
Only two weeks after a drought was announced officially in Dorset, prolonged heavy rain resulted in the River Frome over flowing its banks and flooding fields between maiden Newton and Frampton.
