Epworth Water Tower
Epworth water tower from across the fields. Now fading back to a concrete grey; it was once painted a brilliant white and could be seen from a great distance all around, from the Lincoln Edge south of Scunthorpe, high ground west of Doncaster and even the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds.

In the Shadow of the Tower
The water tower (including aerials) is virtually in the back gardens of these houses. The "benefit" may be that the occupants get very strong signals on their mobile phones.
