Toll Bar Toll House
The toll house which gave the name to the Village of Toll Bar. Sadly, now famous for the awful floods of 2007.

Old toll house
In Tollbar, one of 3 tollhouses still to be seen on the Doncaster to Selby turnpike of 1832. This was one of the last roads to be turnpiked in Yorkshire. All three were this distinctive shape. It is not known if the upper storey was a later addition but the wings either side are. The business was once called Doncaster Autopaints, now Autopaint Solutions (UK). This area is prone to flooding and nearby houses still have sandbags ready.
