The Downe Arms, Market Place, Snaith
The Viscounts Downe lived at nearby Cowick Hall. The pub appears to have been an inn from the outset, dating from the mid 18th century. The bow windows would have been added in the early 19th century and are a distinctive feature. Listed Grade II.

The Fire Station, Snaith
In a rather incongruous position on the High Street. It creates an undesireable gap in the townscape. It is also in one of the least accessible parts of the town. The High Street is frequently blocked by parking. Just about anywhere in Snaith would be better than this.

Hardware shop on the corner of Market Street, Snaith
Parts of the building date back to around 1700, but with later alterations. The shop fronts date from around 1900 and are relatively unspoilt examples of the period. Listed Grade II.
