E Scooters in SNAITH town centre causing issues (and surrounding Villages)

Officers will be doing high viz patrols and issuing warning letters. When schools open officers will be completing assemblies to educated the children about the legislation surrounding e-scooters

Road Safety - Snaith, Rawcliffe, Airmyn and surrounding villages (specifically near to school premises)

Complaints continue to be made around school pick up and drop off times regards parking and road safety. High visibility patrols, words of advice/engagement and continued work with the schools to reduce these issues going forward.

General Priority - Anti-social Behaviour

As we move into the Halloween/bonfire and festive periods we aim to combat a rise in ASB with regular school and youth engagement events across our ward areas.

Road Safety and Casualty Reduction issues continue to be a consistent priority within the Snaith and Marshlands area.

Road Safety and Casualty Reduction issues continue to be a consistent priority within the Snaith and Marshlands area. This is including but not exclusive to speeding, contravention of weight restrictions and illegal use of electric motorcycles and electric scooters.

Community Speed Watch and the NPT are working in partnership to deal with speeding and improve road safety.

All Neighbourhood Officers have had training or refresher training for the Pro Laser Speed Enforcement and regular targeted school patrols within the Ward area are completed by PCSOs.

Areas of concern have been raised by communities, of which Neighbourhood Beat Officers are and will be attending to carry out speed enforcement as and when demand allows.

Electric Motorcycles and Electric Scooters

Illegal use of electric motorcycles and electric scooters continues to be an issue raised within communities.

These bikes are causing a danger to road users and pedestrians in the areas of concern raised. Our main areas of concern at the moment are Rawcliffe, Snaith, and Airmyn.

We have had recent success in Rawcliffe in recovering two electric motorcycles by working in partnership with the Rural Task Force Drone.

Action will continue to take place in these areas and any other areas reporting issues with electric motorcycles.
