The north side, looking west towards the Bell and Crown pub. The house with the new tiles (nos.10 & 12) is the only listed building – Listed Grade II - in the row, dating from the mid 18th century. Originally a single house, later becoming a pair of shops, of which the late 19th century shop fronts and an early 19th century bow window survive.
