Cast iron post by the A684, in parish of West Witton (Richmondshire District), outside houses near School Close, on North side of road. Bedale HD iron casting, erected by the Local Highways Board in the 19th/20th century.

Old milepost
On the north side of the A684 in West Witton outside some houses near School Close. This is an original casting from the Mattisons of Bedale foundry made at the end of the 19C at the time of the Highways Districts. It is Grade II listed 321844.
