Helicopter and houses
One of two MD 800 Explorer helicopters operated by Yorkshire Air Ambulance, an independent charity which receives no government funding. (It costs £7,200 each day to keep both helicopters maintained and in the air, which adds up to £2.6m per year.) Hawes is an isolated town and road ambulances can take a significant time to reach it, so in emergency this helicopter (based at Leeds-Bradford Airport) is called in to help get urgent cases to hospital.

A Classic coach
The bus is a Crossville bus and is one of the Cumbria Classic Coaches. It appears to run a service from here at Wensleydale Visitor Centre to somewhere. The bus destination board says Hawes so this is obviously its destination.
