Frosterley station
The Weardale Railway Trust runs heritage diesel railcar services between Stanhope and Wolsingham and Witton-le-Wear at Easter, weekends from April to the end of October, and for most of August (not Mondays or Tuesdays) http://www.weardale-railway.org.uk/ .

Frosterley Station, Driver's View
The Weardale Railway run one of the old style railcars where you can see up and down the track from the front and back seats.
This is Frosterley Station which was closed back in the 1950s but now has the platform back in use. The station house is privately owned.
