Terrace of cottages with Chapel
This is the valley of the Bolt's Burn, a tributary of the River Derwent and an old lead mining area. Unusually a Primitive Methodist Chapel, dated 1877 stands at the end of the short Boltsburn Terrace.

Boltsburn Cottages Ramshaw near Blanchland
