Kingston Avenue
Kingston Avenue is a residential area of Hallam Fields. The houses are somewhat older and very few have garages hence the parking on both sides of the road on the pavement to allow other vehicles to move along the avenue.

Hallam Fields Road, Ilkeston
These cottages were built to accommodate workers at the nearby Stanton Ironworks, once a major local employer. The tower belongs to St Bartholomew's Church which is now derelict. The 'Stute
A sports ground was opened on 11th December 1937 and this building was the Stanton Ironworks Men's Institute (The 'Stute). The football matches in the TV drama "Playing The Field" about a ladies soccer team were filmed on the ground.
