Former Jute Mill at Wishart Arch
The Jute Mill was latterly run by Barron of Belfast. It has been converted to residential properties. According to a 1910 Belfast Directory, Barron & Co of Belfast Ltd were cotton and jute bag manufacturers. They operated from the Boyne Works, 2 Rydelmere Street, Belfast.
The Wishart Arch is the last remaining old city gate in Dundee.

St Andrew's Kirk
As the city of Dundee expanded in the 18th century, St Andrew's Parish was erected to cope with the rising population. The church was built between 1772 and 1774, and still serves an active congregation. See http://www.standrewsparishchurch.co.uk/History_of_Church.htm for a more detailed history.
