Crewe Junction War Memorial
This magnificent brass memorial is dedicated to all workers of the London & North Western Railway and the Crewe Steam Sheds who served in the armed forces during WWI; those killed in action are listed. There is a supplementary list of the six men who fell in WWII. It is a shame that this memorial is in the foyer of the first-class lounge, so standard-class passengers will never see it.
