Top of Buckingham Rise, Allesley Park
The snow from a week before has persisted on northward facing rooftops. Sunny pavements are clear, but those in the shade still have patches of packed snow and ice. The frontage of the Minstrel Boy public house is just visible on the left.

Buckingham Rise, Allesley Park
Midday, Christmas Day. The low temperatures since the snowfall on 17th December has meant there has been very little subsequent thaw with snowcover persisting on the north facing roofs seen here, nearby and in the distance in Whoberley. In contrast, see south facing roofs in the same area, taken a few minutes later: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2207824
