The Co-operative Childcare, 1 Upper Grove Street, Royal Leamington Spa
This building houses a day nursery operated by the Midcounties Co-operative. It is possible that the building was originally a cinema, probably the original home of the Apollo which is now a Vue cinema elsewhere in the town.

Gap between buildings, Warwick Terrace, Leamington
The view is roughly west across the private car park in Upper Grove Street. It would appear that when the flats, left, were built http://geograph.org.uk/p/3944161 a private road off Warwick Terrace gave access to parking at that level, below this. Hence the gap. The houses on the right, part of a short terrace, were built in the boom years of the 1820s.

Private car park, Upper Grove Street, and rear of flats in Warwick Terrace, Leamington
Late 19th century maps show a large block, Somerset Mews, where this car park is. The 1923 OS map shows a Film Printing Works. A local woman remembers her mother saying that before she married in 1935 she was employed at a developing and printing works here. The signs at the back of the car park say 'Market Location', presumed to be a commercial property agent.
On the left is a glimpse of the back of a building that houses KwikFit with offices above. A report of 1944 mentions an office block on the site. In the late 19th century it was the site of a residential property, Westrock House. Its garden and a neighbouring one, shown in 1887, are the site of the flats that front Warwick Terrace. In form they approximate to the early 19th-century terrace at the north end of the street. See also http://geograph.org.uk/p/3944224

19 and 21 Beauchamp Hill
Built by William Buddle Snr and Jnr as their private residences. They also built the houses which now form Clarendon Crescent. It is said that the Buddles built these before creating Clarendon Crescent, but the chronology does not support this. This pair is dated to c.1840, whereas the others are 10 years earlier. Listed Grade II.
