The Lawford Arms, Long Lawford
The Lawford Arms is one of two pubs in Long Lawford (the other, the Caldecott Arms, is immediately next door on Main Street). It is part of the Black Country Ales estate.

Main Street, Long Lawford
Main Street is the heart of Long Lawford village and the location of its two pubs - one of which, the Lawford Arms, is seen here. Nevertheless, the focus has moved somewhat to the east over the years towards Townsend Lane where the Co-op and primary school are located. The side of the pub suggests it is based on an old timber-framed building.

Long Lawford pubs
The Lawford Arms and the Caldecott Arms are next door to each other on Main Street. At the time of this photograph both were closed (and had been since the beginning of November) due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

Telephone box - Main Street, Long Lawford
In common with so many village telephone boxes, the telephone has been removed and the BT notice announcing this can be seen inside.

The Caldecott Arms, Long Lawford
Sadly the board advertising the Caldecott's live entertainment is blank - Covid-19 lockdown restrictions meant that this pub, in common with all others in the country, was temporarily closed. The pub is one of two in the village (the other one is next door) and takes its name from the Caldecott family who were once landowners in the area and built a manor house at Holbrook Grange in 1803.
