Main Street is the heart of Long Lawford village and the location of its two pubs - one of which, the Lawford Arms, is seen here. Nevertheless, the focus has moved somewhat to the east over the years towards Townsend Lane where the Co-op and primary school are located. The side of the pub suggests it is based on an old timber-framed building.
