Sadly the board advertising the Caldecott's live entertainment is blank - Covid-19 lockdown restrictions meant that this pub, in common with all others in the country, was temporarily closed. The pub is one of two in the village (the other one is next door) and takes its name from the Caldecott family who were once landowners in the area and built a manor house at Holbrook Grange in 1803.
