Remains of the Great Central Railway Bridge, Rugby
The former Great Central Railway crossed the London & North Western Railway's main line (the West Coast main line) at Rugby with a long bridge known as the birdcage bridge. Although the line closed in 1969, it was not until 2006 that the bridge was demolished as part of the West Coast modernisation project. This is all that remains now.
