Priorities
| 9 Oct 2025 | ASB in retail parks/recreation grounds - we are seeing an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour, particularly by groups of school age children at the retail parks within Rugby, that are affecting both the businesses and customers of the stores. Response (31 Dec 2025)Increased patrols and youth engagement in the affected areas. |
| 9 Oct 2025 | Residential burglaries Response (31 Dec 2025)The team are going to focus on prevention work around burglaries on the area as well as high visibility patrols to prevent residential burglaries during the darker evenings. |
| 18 Dec 2025 | Drugs - public priority Response (31 Mar 2026)The results of the local area priority survey from Warwickshire Connected have shown that residents would like us to tackle issues linked to drugs. If you would like to vote on what matters to you in your local area, please sign up to www.warwickshireconnected.com and complete the survey. |
| 18 Dec 2025 | Road Safety & Vehicle Crime Response (31 Mar 2026)Members of the public continue to voice their concerns about road safety and vehicle related issues. In response, we will continue to carry out targeted patrols focusing on vehicle and traffic offences, while also disrupting individuals involved in criminality who make use of the town’s road network. |
| 1 Apr 2026 | Tackling drugs use Response (30 Jun 2026)ASB was the joint highest result within the community survey, and drugs was the third. However, from looking at the results there appears to be a corolation between ASB and drugs, therefore, both these issues can be looked into at the same time. This issues also looks into the intel priority of CCE and Money laundering as drug dealing often goes hand in hand with these, and then one of the Thematic priorities is Drug supply, so this again links into that priority. |

| 1 Jul 2026 | Road safety (public priority) Response (30 Sep 2026)This was the most common result within the community survey. This can include parking issues, which is a major issue specifically within the Benn Ward area of Rugby. This has been a constant theme from local councillors, and we are currently working with the council on how to address this issue in the Benn Ward area. We have also had reports of anti-social driving along the Leicester road, which we are looking at targeting, and I have requested training for the whole team on handheld speed guns to assist with this. |
| 1 Jul 2026 | Drugs and ASB (police priority) Response (30 Sep 2026)Operations targeting drug dealing within the Benn Ward area and ASB issues within Junction 1 and Elliott's Field. |
