Civic Centre 4, Much Park Street, Coventry
An interesting concrete tower, the offices seemingly sitting inside detached from the concrete frame. The last of four phases. By Terence Gregory, 1971-73.
As the name suggests it is part of a large civic complex and serves as offices for Coventry City Council.

Civic Centre 4
Looking along the pedestrian Meschede Way towards the tower block, dating from c. 1972, which houses the planning department of the City Council. The large 'Welcome to Coventry' banner is one of several Olympic banners that have appeared recently on tall buildings - some of the Olympic football matches will be played at the Ricoh stadium in the outskirts of the city.
The plaque on the wall by the steps commemorates the Junior Technical School which formerly stood on the spot.
