Planning permission has been granted by Thanet District Council under application number F/TH/14/0422 for the “demolition of existing side extension to facilitate the redevelopment of 13 self-contained apartments together with associated car parking without compliance with conditions 4 and 6 of planning permission F/TH/05/0905 to relocate bay on front elevation, alter windows, doors and dormer windows and add gables to rear elevation". There is an inscribed stone plaque on the road side of the building bearing the words 'Mount Zion Pentecostal/Evangelic Christian Church.

Towards the house, with scaffolding on its frontage and side, which is number 58 Victoria Road. Planning permission has been granted by Thanet District Council under application number F/TH/14/0088 for the “installation of replacement window”. This is the centre window of the three on the first floor.

Detail on Image Princess Alexander (sic*) of Teck, nee Princess Alice of Albany, was a grand-daughter of Queen Victoria and therefore Edward VII's niece. *In those days, even a Royal Princess took her husband's first name.
