A four storey smock mill built in 1866, replacing a post mill. The mound that the post mill stood on can be seen. Last windmill in Kent to work commercially, ceasing work in 1970.

Keeping the verges tidy
This flock of sheep and lambs was securely penned, by the use of an electric fence. There were signs that they had previously enjoyed the grass across the road.
