Is at the end of the terrace, covered in scaffolding. Seen from Chatham Street, it is a grade II listed building dating from the 1780s http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-171719-nos-1-to-5-inclusive-with-railed-areas-r
Planning permission has been granted by Thanet District Council under application numbers L/TH/10/0370 for an “application for listed building consent for the siting of plaque to front elevation” and L/TH/13/0494 for the “repair and reconstruction of roof including replacement of original dormer windows with larger windows”.

Compared with Image, the repair and reconstruction of the roof have been completed and a commemorative plaque attached to the frontage, on the left hand side, between the first two ground and first floor windows. This bears the wording: The Ramsgate Society. Viscount Wellesley KG, KP, GCH, PC, FRS, 1769-1852. 1st Duke of Wellington and Prime Minister 1834. Stayed here during the Napoleonic Wars 1803-1815.
