Trinity School playing fields (Sandilands)
A very raw northerly gale on the day I visited reminded me of frequent painful afternoons playing rugby here as a schoolboy. (I was surprised to find football goals up and not rugby posts.) The site is exposed to the north and the west: you can see the skyscrapers of central Croydon in the background.

Croydon: Sandilands
A very pleasant road with excellent detached houses, giving access at the far end to Lloyd Park as well as several sports clubs. At least one former Croydon MP has had his home on this road.
