Colchester - East Mill
A former water and steam corn mill. The current complex dates from 1885-1893 and was renovated by Rank, Hovis, McDougal in 1930-1. It closed in 1976 and was initially converted to a hotel and then later to apartments.
My initial response on seeing the tall central tower was former brewery but my sources soon put me right.

Marriage's Mill
This is East Bridge Colchester and Marriage’s Mill. After a spell as a Hotel the Mill has now been converted into flats. You can see the roof of Image in the background. Today the bridge was out for resurfacing work.
