Colchester - East Mill

A former water and steam corn mill. The current complex dates from 1885-1893 and was renovated by Rank, Hovis, McDougal in 1930-1. It closed in 1976 and was initially converted to a hotel and then later to apartments. My initial response on seeing the tall central tower was former brewery but my sources soon put me right.
