The Veterinary Hospital
The Veterinary Hospital, Rye Street, Bishop's Stortford is a lovely pink building with stable around the back. Tall vets work on the left hand side while short vets like myself work on the right hand side. I worked here for 2.5 years during the late 1980s.

Old Milestone by the B1004, Rye Street, Bishop's Stortford parish
Carved stone post by the B1004, in parish of Bishop's Stortford (East Hertfordshire District), Rye Street, by No. 12, on the verge, on East side of road. Hockerill stone, erected by the Hockerill turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-

Before it closed this was often the haunt of "mature" Students from the nearby Image I would have paid a sentimental visit but the Covid-19 closure prevented it.

Venn House
When this picture was taken "The Ven" was class rooms and accommodation (upstairs) for students at the former Image trades union education centre.
I paid a sentimental journey today. There was a house name plaque of "Venn House" in Whitehall Road but I could not see if it was the same building.
