Old Milestone by the B181, Palmers Hill, Epping
Carved stone post by the B181, in parish of EPPING (EPPING FOREST District), fronting Redgrove House, hidden in ivy, on South side of road. Erected by the Woodford & Harlow turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:- : (Harlow / 6) : : LONDON / 16 :
Carved bench mark and rivet on top.

The War Memorial. Epping
This is taken from the green in front of the Catholic Church of The Immaculate Conception on Church Hill. The building in the background are flats called Spriggs Oak. They were built to replace a maternity home that was bombed out during the 2nd world war, killing 7 women. The road on the right is the B1393.
