Carved stone post by the B181, in parish of EPPING (EPPING FOREST District), fronting Redgrove House, hidden in ivy, on South side of road. Erected by the Woodford & Harlow turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : (Harlow / 6) : : LONDON / 16 : Carved bench mark and rivet on top. Milestone Society National ID: EX_WFHW16.
