I'm guessing this is the former Methodist Chapel on Barrow Lane mentioned as having closed in 1981. An adjacent property is called Chapel Yard, which supports this suspicion.

Sundial, St. Bartholomew's Church, Great Barrow
The sundial was inscribed with the date 1705, but is missing from the top of the pillar. The shaft probably belongs to a churchyard cross that was broken in 1613.
